underrated.

so i went to royal oak the other night and a guy singing

on the street handed me a long stem rose.

of course that got me thinking- when the heck was the last time i got flowers?

i forgot how happy they make me.

in high school my old bf would send flowers to the house and it would

make my day- heck it would make my week

then there is the bf from college who would knock on the door on my

birthday and have a bouquet in his hand.

i think the thing about flowers that gets me is picturing the guy at the store trying

to pick out a nice piece for you and then just imaging them

walking to your place or even calling the flower shop and delivering

them to you. they have to feel pretty good about themselves like 'ya im getting my

girl flowers- whats up'

basically just a reminder that every girl deserves flowers once in a while

thanks to cupcakesandcashmere, me and my dad took part in a father daughter project a couple weeks ago. i loved her idea on this hanging piece and now get fresh flowers in my room every couple days
